Event Information:
The Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce, along with several other business organizations represented its respective memberships with a luncheon at the Democratic and Acadiana Caucuses at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge during May. The economic value of the Bayou Region and the risk that hurricanes present to the economic impact of the United States was discussed with Legislators from throughout the State. Other participating organizations included, the Chamber of Lafourche and the Bayou Region, the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber, the St. Mary Chamber of Commerce, Bayou Industrial Group, South Central Industrial Association and the St. Mary Industrial Group
