Automobile Tags
New residents from another state must immediately title and register all their vehicles with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles. Bring your out-of-state title, registration certificate, and proof of insurance to the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you are from another Louisiana parish, you will need to bring a registration and tag receipt to transfer your tags.
