Join us for Business at Breakfast as Thibodaux Fire Chief Chad Mire provides an overview of the Thibodaux Fire Department. Heres an opportunity to learn about their equipment, membership, budget and challenges they will face in the future.
Chad has recently been elected to serve as the Fire Chief for the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department. Having been a member of the department for almost 30 years and serving as Assistant Chief for the last ten years he is looking forward to continuing to lead the department like all of his predecessors have done.
He was born and raised in Thibodaux, and joined the Fire Department in April, 1987. He became a Director of a Department Squad in 1988, Company Lieutenant from 1988-1997, Captain 1997 to 1999, Assistant Chief 2007-2017 and Fire Chief 2017 to Present.
