Local organizations/groups such as the Jean Lafitte National Park Service, BETNAP, the Bayou Country Children's Museum, the United Houma Nation Cultural Art & Dance, the E. D. White Catholic High Art & Key Clubs, the LPSO Explorer Post 323 and the DARE officers will conduct Art, Earth Day and other activities for children. There will be story time by the Lafourche Parish Public Library with Garcon the Alligator and other storytellers in the Site's period kitchen throughout the day. Amy Good will present selections from Annie with the students from St. Joseph Elementary and her private music students will perform on the front porch of the E. D. White house. There will also be performance of students from other local schools. The food sold during the festival will be kid's favorites such as hot dogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, cupcakes, chips and soft drinks.
